Hello everyone! About a week ago, I did a quickie review on ELF's baked eye shadow palette California. Today I have the NYC palette to show off! Unfortunately, mine arrived broken, but I am sure ELF will fix things soon. Above is the picture of the broken palette, I will replace the picture once I have a new, intact palette.
"Each Baked Palette features 10 gorgeous baked eyeshadows so you can achieve a flawless look whenever, wherever. The silky and blendable formula of our Baked Eyeshadow provides smooth and even application with each sweep of color. Baked in an oven, these eyeshadows offer rich pigmentation for a beautiful effect. Infused with active key ingredients Jojoba, Rose, Sunflower, Apricot and Grape to nourish and hydrate the skin. The long-lasting and shimmering color can be worn wet for a vibrant effect or dry for sheer pigmentation, offering a variety of gorgeous eye looks! -ELF Cosmetics"
The NYC palette initially didn't stand out to me. I didn't think I could rock the darker colors. When the chance arose for me to get my hands on the NYC palette though, I of course decided to try. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and swatched dry on my skin. These shadows will pop applied wet or on top of primer. This palette is super gorgeous and pigmented. Some similarities to the California palette, but not many.
